Five Years Ago This Month: March 2010

Five years ago this month...

I've decided to include a picture from the month wherever possible, just to add some interest to otherwise boring posts. Apparently I spent the very early part of March 2010 in Mexico!

...I reviewed Mr. Right Next Door. I didn't like it much but I gave it credit for an amusing cat-shooting incident.

...I reviewed The Postman Always Rings Twice. An excellent return to form for The List, short and snappy and just devastating enough at the end to be memorable. I still haven't seen the movie.

...I reviewed Because of a Boy. The most scathing of my early romnov reviews, and the one that would shake up the blog just a few short months later...

...I reviewed The Sheltering Sky. I didn't care for it, really. The most memorable thing about the book is that it keeps going after the main character dies.

...I reviewed Highland Rebel. It involved a lot of time travel and absurdity.
