We have officially reached the season when I never get anything done because it's constantly dark outside which makes me feel like hibernating and just being cozy inside my house all the time. The struggle is very real.
On the other hand, I have been watching a lot of television, and doing a lot of shopping, and I successfully painted one of the bedrooms in my house, and so on and so forth. It hasn't been a complete waste of a month. But it has been one of those months where the title of these monthly update posts is very apt. For example, I've been putting off writing a book review for the past week.

I read this book in a day because it's short and sweet, and I think you should read it too. James M. Cain is great. He's like if Hemingway was slightly more misogynist and way more murderous.
