Current Distractions, May 2020 Edition

May has actually been a pretty exhausting month. I'm glad that I don't spend much time actively on social media because I think I'd be beating myself up even more over my lack of productivity during this pandemic. Since April, I've been working a fair amount of overtime at work, especially in the last week of this month, and that's really been weighing on me. I think I've also mentioned that I'm extra stressed because my really excellent stress relief (swimming) is currently off limits. I'm currently toying with the idea of purchasing a wetsuit and finding some open water, but haven't made a decision about that yet.

Here's what I've actually done in May: planted my garden, more or less successfully (this remains to be seen as the weather has been so cool that many of my seeds haven't come up yet); gotten a hair cut; rode my bike to work two out of four weeks (this is actually kind of a failure on my part but it's a long story); gotten closer to finishing reading The List.

Hopefully if you're reading this you and yours are well and healthy.
