Current Distractions, January 2015 Edition

I think I've done this too often lately, but I'm really too tuckered out to write much. The problem, I think, is that for the last few months, I've been sleeping on an air mattress most of the time, and it is the worst. I am too old to be sleeping on an air mattress for multiple nights in a row, multiple weeks in a row. So I'm going to be taking steps next month to fix that.

Watching

Grey's Anatomy

I guess I haven't mentioned yet that I've been watching excessive amounts of Grey's Anatomy, a show that I picked up in the summer of 2006 and then dropped in the summer of 2008. I started it from the beginning this time and am midway through the fifth season after something like two months of watching. It's not good, but it satisfies my cravings for women being women with other women, currently almost absent in my actual life.

Hannibal

My mom and I were watching a few episodes of this show every few weeks while eating pizza, as only a nurse and her daughter can do. We finished season two though and now we're both dying for new episodes.

Building

I'm "building" shelves in my living room, which I'm super excited about, and which you'll have a chance to see, I hope, soon (maybe by the end of next month!?). Currently I'm waiting to buy more support brackets, and I still have to screw more stuff onto the wall. It's been a fun and slightly scary process.

One last thing to note: the day after this post goes up is the five year anniversary of this blog! Yay me! Yay you, rare and beloved reader!
