Current Distractions, March 2019 Edition

This month has been absolutely full of distractions, but they're much more related to just general life stuff than any particular media consumption. Being a procrastinator has once again bit me in the ass.

Swimming
I've swum a cumulative total of 46km this year, which is way better than where I was at this time last year. I'm wondering whether I might be able to get up to 200km by the end of the year, but I'm not thinking that far ahead just yet. At this rate I'll definitely make it to 100km though!

Reading
U.S.A. book 3 by John Dos Passos
Hold the Dark by William Giraldi
Appointment in Samarra by John O'Hara
Earth Abides by George R. Stewart
Henderson the Rain King by Saul Bellow
A Journal of the Plague Year by Daniel Defoe

Listening
Over My Dead Body (a podcast)
Egowerk (The Faint's new album)

Spring is springing, so pretty soon my distractions will be more plant-based, and I'm really looking forward to that.
