This one is late on purpose. I have been on vacation since June 22. I had a choice between writing a very early Distractions post, blogging while I was on holidays, and writing a late one, and I hope it's obvious why I made the choice that I did. I'm sure that no one will be surprised to learn that I, as usual, have already largely forgotten what I got up to last month. I also feel very lazy because I just got back last night around midnight and I have a ton of stuff that I need to take care of.
By the way, I am hoping to upgrade my computer within the next couple of months, and I imagine that things will all suddenly improve 100% then for some unknown reason.

Bon Cop Bad Cop
Finally. It was hilarious, but the ending was rather abrupt. I wish there were more Canadian movies like this one.
It Comes At Night
What comes at night? I went out of my way to learn nothing about this after watching the teaser trailer, so I was very pleased with the movie. There's a lot of ambiguity in it and it gave me a similar feeling of anticlimax as The VVitch, but I thought it was scary and enjoyable.
Travelling
I went to Harrison Hot Springs, Victoria, and Ottawa/Gatineau over the course of my travels. I don't know how much I'll write about this at the moment/later. I visited some bookstores but I have a lot of things to read already, so I didn't but anything. Woo?
